February marks Oesophageal Cancer Awareness Month. Each year in the UK, approximately 9,000 individuals receive an oesophageal cancer diagnosis. This month, take the opportunity to educate yourself about the symptoms of oesophageal cancer and discover where you can find support.

Like any cancer, early diagnosis is key. The most common symptom of oesophageal cancer is difficulty swallowing. It might feel as though food is sticking in your throat or chest.

Talk to your GP to get any symptom checked.
