Social Groups
The 'Ladies Day' and 'Men's Group' offer the chance for people who are feeling lonely to get out and visit venues around Gateshead and a little further afield.
New Friends
Friendship groups are held across the borough, you can come and go to any of them as you please. The groups include meeting old friends and making new ones for a coffee/tea and cake, visiting museums or watching a film together.
Our current locations are:
Ryton, Heworth, Dunston and Blaydon.
Staying Active
Age UK has welcoming activities with something suitable for every level of ability. This includes dancing, yoga, pilates and tai chi.
